The action thriller Omerta 6/12 had its gala premiere in Helsinki on November 16. The film will be released in cinemas in Finland on November 19 followed by a theatrical release in the Nordics during winter 2021/2022. Omerta 6/12 is one of the biggest Finnish film productions ever, directed by Aku Louhimies and starring renowned Finnish actor Jasper Pääkkönen and the Swedish actors Nanna Blondell  and Sverrir Gudnason. The film is produced by Cinematic and SF Studios distributes the film in the Nordics.

Finland’s Independence Day celebration on December 6 is crudely interrupted by an attack to the Presidential Residence. A set of distinguished guests are taken as hostages. Security service officer Max Tanner is set as the negotiator of the hostage crisis and soon it is clear that the main target behind the terrorist attack is a plan to destabilize the security of Europe. Tanner must make bold and even painful decisions to figure out who is behind the attack. After all, there are not only human lives to protect - but the future of Europe as a whole.
