Today SF Studios arranged a digital industry event together with The Swedish Film & TV Producers Association, The Swedish Film Institute and The Swedish Union for Performing Arts and Film, in close dialogue with representatives from the Swedish #MeToo movements #skådespelerskorsomrasifieras and #tystnadtagning. The event highlighted different perspectives of how the industry can work to increase inclusion, representation and ethnic diversity in front and behind the camera in the Swedish film and TV industry. This is the third time that SF Studios is organizing an industry event like this and the purpose is to increase the competence in the field, learn from each other and to drive continued change within the industry. The event attracted great interest with 650 unique viewers.

This year's meeting is part of a longer collaboration between the organizers that aims to maintain the dialogue and change that #SilenceAction (#tystnadtagning) initiated in 2017 with the ambition to make the film and TV industry inclusive regardless of gender, age, ethnicity and other grounds of discrimination. The organizers' view is that long-term change needs to come through increased knowledge, perseverance, and through a constructive forward-looking collaboration in the industry.
