SF Studios' distribution titles from Warner Bros. win three Academy Awards

SF Studios’ distribution titles from Warner Bros. received a total of three awards at the 93rd Academy Awards. The awarded films were Judas and the Black Messiah for Best Supporting Actor (Daniel Kaluuya) and Best Original Song (“Fight for you”) and Tenet for Best Visual Effects. SF Studios handles theatrical distribution and physical home entertainment releases for Warner Bros.

The distribution title A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (by Aardman Animations) was also nominated for Best Animated Feature Film. The three films gathered a total of 9 nominations, including Best Picture for the Warner Bros. title Judas and the Black Messiah.

Looking back, SF Studios has in total won three Academy Awards for our productions: Best foreign language film for The Virgin Spring (1960) and Through a Glass Darkly (1961), and Best Short Subject for Symphony of a City (1947).
