“For me, every film is a long journey. It is important to keep the fire alive. Together with the fantastic actors and creators, the film has now finally been made. Now another exciting journey begins, the meeting with the audience ", says Björn Runge, director.

The internationally acclaimed actors Asta Kamma August (The Pact, Sex, Follow The Money) Bill Skarsgård (It: Chapters 1 & 2, Deadpool) and Gustav Lindh (Rider of Justice, Love Me, Queen of Hearts) portray the main characters Karin, Sven and Olof during the 1930s. Marika Lindström and Sten Ljunggren play Karin and Sven in the 1980s. Sverrir Gudnason (Borg vs. McEnroe, Gentlemen, A Serious Game) portrays Alex Schulman and Sonja Richter (Loving Adults, Open Hearts, The Bridge, Unit One) plays Amanda Schulman.

Burn all my letters throws the spotlight on Karin and Sven Stolpe, Schulman's grandparents, and on the short love affair the grandmother had with Olof Lagercrantz one summer in the early 1930s. A romance for which Sven Stolpe punished his wife for decades and for the remainder of their marriage. It is a story of fierce passion, great love and a long-lived, dark anger.

The film score is created by the internationally acclaimed composer Jacob Mühlrad. He has been recognized for his latest art music album Time and the Swedish House Mafia collaboration The One SymphonyBurn All My Letters is Jacob Mühlrad's first original score for a feature film.

“Jacob Mühlrad's music really touches on all the emotions the film evokes in one. It is at times quietly beautiful, but also heartbreaking and dramatic. Just like the story. Now that the trailer has been released, cinema visitors can finally see what awaits this fall", says Jonathan Ridings, producer at SF Studios.

Burn All My Letters is produced by SF Studios with producers Annika Sucksdorff and Jonathan Ridings with the support from the Swedish Film Institute and in collaboration with SVT, Film i Väst and Film Stockholm.
