SF Studios’ production The Are Murders is a global success on Netflix
SF Studio's Swedish Netflix Production The Are Murders (Swedish title: Åremorden), which premiered on Netflix on February 6, has become a global sensation on Netflix. The series quickly became the most watched series during the week in 26 countries and has been called “Netflix’s Best New Crime Show” by Forbes. The series has garnered 8 800 000 views and is the most watched non-English series of the week.

The series is based on Viveca Sten’s best-selling novels "Hidden in Snow" and "Hidden in the Shadows" and follows police officer Hanna Ahlander who has been suspended from her job in Stockholm and dumped by her partner when she moves to her sister's vacation home in Åre. When a young woman goes missing on the icy night of Lucia, Hanna can't help but start investigating the case. With a tough family situation and an understaffed police station, local police officer Daniel Lindskog (Kardo Razzazi) reluctantly has to accept Hanna's help. But the big question is whether they can trust each other.

The Are Murders is directed by Joakim Eliasson and Alain Darborg, with screenplay by Karin Gidfors and Jimmy Lindgren. Brita H. Lundqvist has produced the series for SF Studios with Susann Billberg and Viveca Sten serving as executive producers.

SF Studios brings Life on Seacrow Island to the big screen as a feature film
Following the success of the 2025 television series Life on Seacrow Island (Vi på Saltkråkan), SF Studios is bringing Astrid Lindgren's beloved archipelago world to cinemas. The feature film is now in production, directed by Fredrik Edfeldt, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Karin Arrhenius. It is produced by SF Studios in collaboration with Astrid Lindgren AB, Sveriges Television, Film Stockholm and Film i Väst, with support from the Swedish Film Institute and the Nordic Film & TV Fond.
SF Studios and Paradox's Beloved Selected as Opening Film of the Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund
