This week Amanda Lind, the Swedish Minister of Culture and Democracy, and Ulf Dernevik, political advisor from the Ministry of Culture, visited the production set for SF Studios’ passionate drama Burn All My Letters, directed by Björn Runge and produced by Annika Sucksdorff and Jonathan Ridings at SF Studios. Mikael Fellenius and Kristina Börjeson, representatives from the co-producer Film i Väst, and the reporter Karin Frid from Göteborgs-Posten also participated. The purpose of the set visit was to give the politicians an opportunity to experience a Swedish production set, meet with the crew and cast and discuss the recently introduced production incentives in the film industry and their importance for the development of more film productions in Sweden.

SF Studios has long supported the initiative to introduce permanent production incentives in Sweden and welcomes the Swedish government’s action to introduce them in its budget for 2022. It will be a strong injection for the Swedish film industry's opportunities and willingness to produce more films and TV series domestically, create more jobs - not only within the industry - but also in surrounding branches. Also, Sweden will now have similar conditions of competition as in other European countries, which means that we can attract foreign film productions to Sweden.
