We are excited to share that SF Studios' drama comedy A Man Called Otto, starring Tom Hanks, was invited to be presented to members of Congress and members of staff at the House of Representatives in Washington DC on July 17-21. The event was organized by Creative Future, which is a non-profit organization that seeks to strengthen copyright and drives anti-piracy and other film industry related issues on Capitol Hill.
The panel discussion focused on the implementation of A Man Called Otto and was attended by three representatives from the film – Producer Fredrik Wikström Nicastro, Executive Producer Renée Wolfe and Actor Peter Lawson Jones – with an audience of 50 guests. The A Man Called Otto team also met with a few senators and congressmen to give them a greater understanding of the process of making a film and create a more personal and engaging dialogue. A Man Called Otto has been very successful in the US and globally and received praise from critics and audiences around the world.
