Nelly Rapp – The Secret of the Black Forest wins CineKindl Award at the Munich Film Festival

SF Studios' upcoming youth film Nelly Rapp – The Secret of The Black Forest (Swedish title: Nelly Rapp - Dödens spegel) won the CineKindl Award at the Munich Film Festival on July 1. The first film about Nelly Rapp – Monsteragent had a great success with audiences and received international recognition with several Guldbagge Awards and a nomination for a Generation Kplus Crystal Bear Award at Berlinale 2021. The film series is about the monster agent Nelly Rapp who embarks on different adventures and is based on Martin Widmark's popular children's books of the same name. Rising star Matilda Gross once again plays the lead role in the sequel, which is directed by Johan Rosell and produced by SF Studios with producers Jon Nohrstedt and Niklas Larsson. Sofie Forsman and Tove Forsman have written the script. The film will premiere in Swedish cinemas on October 20, 2023.
The cast also includes the renowned Swedish actors Johan Rheborg, Jens Ohlin and Marianne Mörck, who received a Guldbagge nomination for Best supporting actress in 2021 for her role in the first film. The film will premiere in Swedish cinemas on October 20, 2023.
