First look and release date for Danish Netflix feature film A Beautiful Life

Today, Netflix unveils a first look and announces the launch date for A Beautiful Life, a Danish Netflix feature film starring Danish singer Christopher in his first-ever leading role. He will be joined by a Nordic cast of up-and-coming actors Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, Christine Albeck Børge, Ardalan Esmaili and Sebastian Jessen. The film is directed by Mehdi Avaz and produced by SF Studios. A Beautiful Life will launch globally on Netflix on June 1, 2023.
Elliott, a young fisherman with an extraordinary voice, gets the chance of a lifetime when he is discovered by the successful high-profile music manager, Suzanne. Suzanne soon pairs Elliott with her estranged daughter and music producer, Lilly. On his way to becoming a star, struggles from the past threaten not only his big breakthrough, but also the budding love with Lilly.
A Beautiful Life, directed by Mehdi Avaz (Toscana), stars Christopher and up-and-coming actors Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas (Women in Oversized Men's Shirts), Christine Albeck Børge (Ulven Kommer), Ardalan Esmaili (The Charmer, Snabba Cash) and Sebastian Jessen (Grow, In Love & War). The film is produced by SF Studios and producers Anna Malmkjær Willumsen and Julie Rix Bomholt in co-production with Rocket Road Pictures and with the support from Den Vestdanske Filmpulje.
SF Studios is currently producing the Danish costume drama Ehrengard for Netflix and has also recently produced the Swedish Netflix original series Snabba Cash, the first Swedish Netflix film Red Dot and the first Danish Netflix film Loving Adults, that have been well received by international media and audiences.
