Ruben Östlund's Triangle of Sadness wins Palme d'Or in Cannes
Tonight Ruben Östlund's Triangle of Sadness won the prestigious Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Ruben Östlund and Platform Production also won the Palme d'Or with five years ago for the film The Square. Triangle of Sadness had its world premiere in Cannes on May 21 and will be released in Nordic cinemas in September 2022. The film is an epic satire set against the world of fashion and the uber-rich with Hollywood star Woody Harrelson and international actors Harris Dickinson and Charlbi Dean in the leading roles. SF Studios distributes Triangle of Sadness in all Nordic countries.

SF Studios brings Life on Seacrow Island to the big screen as a feature film
Following the success of the 2025 television series Life on Seacrow Island (Vi på Saltkråkan), SF Studios is bringing Astrid Lindgren's beloved archipelago world to cinemas. The feature film is now in production, directed by Fredrik Edfeldt, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Karin Arrhenius. It is produced by SF Studios in collaboration with Astrid Lindgren AB, Sveriges Television, Film Stockholm and Film i Väst, with support from the Swedish Film Institute and the Nordic Film & TV Fond.
