SF Studios' films win many awards at the Guldbagge Awards 2022

Tonight the Guldbagge Awards ceremony was held in Stockholm. The Guldbagge Awards celebrates outstanding achievements in the Swedish film industry. SF Studios’ film A Christmas Tale received three awards, including Best Actor in a Leading Role (Jonas Karlsson), Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Jennie Silfverhjelm) and Best Production Design (Michael Higgins). SF Studios' epic drama The Emigrants received an award for Best Visual Effects (Alex Hansson & Torbjörn Olsson). SF Studios' distribution title Pleasure received three awards including Best Actress in a Leading Role (Sofia Kappel), Best Costume Design (Amanda Wing Yee) and Best Make-Up Design (Erica Spetzig). The Swedish Netflix film Red Dot, that SF Studios has produced, and The Ape Star, that SF Studios has distributed, were also nominated at the gala.

SF Studios' production and distribition titles received a total of 24 nominations to the Guldbagge Awards 2022 and won in the following seven categories:
