TV 2 in Denmark has today announced that SF Studios will complete the production of the popular Danish crime series White Sands (original title: Hvide Sande). When the production company Deluca Film was declared bankrupt at the end of October 2023, the second season of the TV series came to a halt. The shooting will restart in February 2024 in Denmark. The creater of this season is Morten Dragsted, based on the idea of A.J. Kazinski, and stars Anne Louise Hassing and Allan Hyde in the leading roles.

In the upcoming season of White Sands, a new crime story unfolds. Two new main characters are introduced, the stress-stricken investigator Maj and the young local police officer Bjørn, played by the actors Anne Louise Hassing and Allan Hyde. The cast also includes Frederikke Dahl Hansen and Anders Brink Madsen together with Jesper Asholt, Camilla Bendix and Bodil Jørgensen, who also appeared in the first season.
