SF Studios’ new international action thriller Horizon Line has its world premiere on November 6

SF Studio's first English-language feature film Horizon Line hits cinemas in Sweden on November 6 as the film has its world premiere. The film also premiers in cinemas in the UK and Benelux on the same date, followed by Finland, Norway and other European markets at the end of the year. The new trailer is released today. The film takes place in Mauritius and stars the international actors Allison Williams (Get Out, Girls) and Alexander Dreymon (The Last Kingdom). The director is award-winning Swedish Mikael Marcimain (Call Girl, Gentlemen, Lasermannen). Horizon Line has been sold worldwide and will be released in the US in early 2021. SF Studios will distribute the film in the Nordics and STX Entertainment handles distribution in the UK and US and international sales.
Horizon Line is one of the first features in SF Studio’s strategy to produce English language films for the international market. The film, with a budget of SEK 200 million, is developed, produced and financed by SF Studios with producer Fredrik Wikström Nicastro (Borg, Snabba Cash). Fredrik is also leading the international expansion for SF Studios, for which the company has established a London office.

Upcoming SF Studios productions include a US remake of A Man Called Ove starring Tom Hanks, based on the international bestseller and the Oscar nominated box-office hit, the thriller Don’t Move and I am Victor based on a novel by Jo Nesbø with Baltasar Kormakur (Everest) set to direct.
