The second season of OXEN, one of the most successful Danish series in recent years, is heading towards post-production. The thriller series is produced by SF Studios in co-production with SquareOne Productions and Nafta Films for TV 2 Denmark and ZDF Germany. REinvent handles international sales. SF Studios theatrical distribution titles received a total of 21 Oscar nominations

Today the nominations for the 97th Academy Awards were announced, and SF Studios’ Nordic distribution titles Conclave and Emilia Pérez received a total of 21 nominations. Emilia Pérez led the nomination tally with 13 nominations while Conclave received 8 nominations, both were nominated for Best Picture.

Quisling - The Final Days to have its international premiere at Toronto International Film Festival

Director Erik Poppe's Quisling - The Final Days will have its international premiere at Toronto International Film Festival in early September. SF Studios and SVT to produce new adaptation of Astrid Lindgren’s Life on Seacrow Island, Beta Film handles international sales

SF Studios and SVT (Sveriges Television) in collaboration with Beta Film Kids & Family are producing a new adaptation of Astrid Lindgren’s beloved series Life on Seacrow Island (Swedish title: Vi på Saltkråkan), directed by Fredrik Edfeldt. The six-episode series, written by Karin Arrhenius, takes place in modern times and will begin filming in Stockholm’s archipelago in June.

Last week, on April 29, filming began for our TV2 production The New Nurses season 6 (Danish title: Sygeplejeskolen). Claudia Boderke and Lars Mering return as the main writers, while Senia Dremstrup produces for SF Studios. The series is set to premiere later this year on Danish TV2 Play and TV2 Charlie.
